The winger has played since 2009 for Le Havre, Leicester, Manchester City and Al-Ahli, and he collected a great deal in a short time:

- more Premier League titles, plus the Champions League, with Manchester City
- the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019, as Algeria's captain
