About ChampionSport.ug

ChampionSport.ug is a sports news site based in Kampala. We started in 2025 and publish football news every day for fans in Uganda and East Africa.

We give local football the same attention as the big European leagues. That means the Uganda Premier League (KCCA FC, Vipers SC, SC Villa, Express FC) alongside the English Premier League, the Champions League and the Africa Cup of Nations.

What We Cover

• Uganda Premier League (UPL): KCCA FC, Vipers SC, SC Villa, Express FC, BUL FC and the other UPL clubs
• English Premier League: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham
• UEFA Champions League
• Transfer news: rumours, confirmed signings and completed deals
• La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1
• Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON): the Uganda Cranes and African football
• Fantasy Premier League (FPL): weekly tips, captain picks, transfer advice
• Live scores, fixtures and results
• League tables for the UPL and the main European leagues

Built for Uganda

The site is built for phones first. Switch on Data Saver and pages load without images and videos, which saves mobile data.

What we aim for

Accurate, readable sports news that works on any phone and any connection, with Ugandan football covered as seriously as the Premier League.
