Vartz SC have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Princewill Biweribo Tarabina on a two-year contract to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old arrives at the Kitende-based outfit as the reigning Starartz Uganda Premier League champions looking to strengthen their defensive unit.
Tarabina, who is versatile enough to ply his trade in central defence or at left-back, joins the Venoms from Nigerian sides Bayelsa United and Plateau United.
His arrival follows the recent departure of Rogers Torach and provides the tacticians with much-needed depth ahead of their domestic and continental campaigns.
This move makes the Nigerian defender the seventh player to join the champions during the current transfer window.
Who are the new Vartz SC signings?
Tarabina joins a growing list of new arrivals intended to help the Venartz SC defend their title and compete on the continent.
