Uganda Premier League clubs gathered in Hoima City on Saturday for the 13th FUFA Super League Limited Annual General Meeting.
The AGM took stock of the 2025/26 season while projecting into an expanded 2026/27 campaign.
Hosted by Kitara FC at HB Hotel, the meeting brought together club chairpersons, FSLL leadership and FUFA officials.
Dennis Mugimba, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education and Sports, was the chief guest.
Mugimba highlighted socio-economic opportunities from Uganda co-hosting Afcon 2027 and challenged clubs to strengthen digital platforms.
"Social media is good but when some high-value potential partner wants information about you, they look for your website," Mugimba told the assembly.
He referred to the Shs5.5 billion government allocation for the 18 topflight clubs in the 2026/27 season.
FUFA President Moses Magogo welcomed the intervention but stressed accountability.
"It is government money. Any lack of transparency and accountability will cost you," Magogo said.
FSLL Board chairman Dr Arinaitwe Rugyendo reflected on progress in governance and commercial development.
The AGM closed with clubs entering the new season with more resources and a bigger competition.
