Match day eight of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League concludes on Wednesday with three fixtures across the country.
KCCA host Lugazi at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo aiming to stretch their winning run to four matches.
The Kasasiro sit ninth on the log with 10 points and could move into the top five if Maroons drop points against Entebbe UPPC at Nakivubo.
Lugazi are desperate to arrest a four-match winless streak and climb the table.
In Kamwenge, Vipers begin a new era under John Ayala Luyinda away to Mbarara City at Rwamwanja Stadium.
This is Ayala's first game in charge since Frenchman Denis Lavagne was sacked over the weekend.
The champions need to bounce back from a frustrating home draw against Police.
Villa's 0-0 draw with Blacks Power on Tuesday offers sixth-placed Vipers a chance to close the gap on the leaders.
Mbarara City languish in the relegation zone and need points badly to enhance survival chances early in the season.
Entebbe UPPC can trim the gap at the summit to two points but must beat stubborn Maroons at Nakivubo.
All matches kick off at 4pm on Wednesday October 26, 2026.
