El Hadji Diouf was one of the most DISGUSTING players in Premier League history, and we mean that literally. This man SPAT at fans. Not once. Not twice. MULTIPLE times. He spat at a Celtic fan. He spat at Portsmouth fans. He was two-time African Footballer of the Year, but nobody remembers his football — only his spit!
Country: Senegal Position: Forward / Winger Career: 1998-2015 Clubs: Sochaux, Lens, Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland, Blackburn, Rangers, Doncaster, Leeds
The Rap Sheet
- Spat at a Celtic fan during a UEFA Cup match in 2003 while playing for Liverpool
- Was convicted in court and fined £5,000 for the Celtic spitting incident
- Had multiple other spitting allegations throughout his career in England
- Steven Gerrard called him 'the worst player he ever played with' at Liverpool

The Verdict
Diouf was two-time African Footballer of the Year and led Senegal to the 2002 World Cup quarter-finals. He had real talent. But spitting at fans is the most disgusting thing a footballer can do, and Diouf did it repeatedly. His legacy is spit, not skill.
