Vipers host Maroons in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League in one of the two fixtures on Sunday seeking to continue rising up the table.
The champions have won the last two matches against Ntugasaze and Blacks Power 3-0 and 4-0 respectively but in Maroons, they face a different opponent altogether.
Gusto Mulongo will be the key man for the hosts after he scored a brace in the last game.
The Prison Warders also beat Lugazi 3-0 in their last outing and will be confident going into the Kitende clash.
Both sides are on six points with the Venoms 9th, a place above Maroons on goal difference.
At Rwamwanja stadium, Kamwenge, Blacks Power visit Mbarara City with the visitors targeting a swift return to winning ways after losing two matches in succession.
Simon Peter Mugerwa’s men began the campaign with three straight wins but have since lost two matches on the bounce.
Meanwhile, Mbarara City are one of the three sides so far yet to register victory this season and lie 16th with only two points.
