Uganda teams experienced mixed fortunes in the lacrosse championship on Friday at the Highlands sports complex during the 2026 FEASSA Games.
Four matches were played in the opening session with a total of 92 goals being scored across the field.
Tororo Girls School secured Uganda’s only victory of the day by defeating Juhudi SS from Tanzania with a convincing 15-04 win.
However, Muzza High School suffered a heavy 20-09 defeat at the hands of St Joseph’s Girls Kitale.
Musingu High School also edged out Kigezi High School 13-10 in a physically charged duel.
The Mumias Muslim outfit dominated the most high-scoring game of the day, thrashing Juhudi 21-03.
Competition for the 2026 FEASSA Games continues on Saturday, while the official opening ceremony is set for Sunday at Jamhuri stadium.
