Tracy Namugosa was the star of the day as the KCCA Leopards won game three to extend the semifinals National Basketball League playoffs to game four. KCCA Leopards secured a well-deserved 70-55 victory against UCU Lady Canons in the NBL encounter at Lugogo Indoor Arena on Wednesday evening.
Namugosa led the Leopards scoring chart with”24 points, anchoring KCCA’s relentless offense. Her clutch shooting in the final quarter ensured UCU Lady Canons couldn’t mount a comeback. The Leopards shot 32.9% from three-point range, while UCU’s star trio of Moyo, Waako and Feruzi struggled to penetrate KCCA’s compact defense.
Game four will be a nerve-shattering affair. KCCA coach James Babyo is furious with officiating after two key shots by Namugosa controversially waved off. UCU’s bench hinted at Teamwork Kiiza today also sparking a benches-clearing drama during trash talk. Only one team can claim this trophy… and it’s not over yet!
