Bradley Barcola: Arsenal and Liverpool in race for PSG winger

Arsenal and Liverpool have both put their names forward for Paris Saint‑Germain’s 23‑year‑old winger Bradley Barcola, according to French outlet L’Equipe. The French forward, who broke through at PSG this season, is now on the radar of two of England’s biggest clubs, sparking a fresh transfer rumour frenzy.

How serious are Arsenal and Liverpool about signing Barcola?

Both London clubs are said to be monitoring the Frenchman closely, but at this stage no formal bid has been lodged. Arsenal’s scouting network, already busy tracking Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye, appears keen to add a pace‑youth to their midfield‑forward line‑up. Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to reinforce a squad that has struggled for consistency on the wings. Ugandan supporters of either club will be watching the market closely.

What other transfer drama is heating up?

While Barcola dominates the headlines, Brighton have turned down Coventry City’s reported £20 million offer for 24‑year‑old England goalkeeper Carl Rushworth. The Seagulls clearly value their shot‑stopper higher than the Midlands side’s bid, leaving Rushworth to linger at the Falmer Stadium for now.

Across the continent, Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing a bid that could outflank Barcelona for Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford. If the German giants clinch the deal, it would see the England forward swap the Premier League for the Bundesliga.

Nottingham Forest have also entered the fray, submitting a near‑£25 million offer for Arsenal midfielder Fabio Viera after his impressive loan spell at Hamburg. Forest may also eye Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi, who has fallen out of favour in Italy. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are looking to replace the departed Antoine Griezmann with PSG attacker Lee Kang‑in, while Barcelona have set their sights on 18‑year‑old Australian defender Lucas Herrington, currently plying his trade in MLS.

Will Barcola end up at Arsenal or Liverpool?

The answer remains uncertain. Both clubs have the financial muscle and scouting reach to make the move happen, but PSG’s willingness to sell is the decisive factor. Until a concrete offer surfaces, Ugandan fans will have to keep the speculation alive and watch the transfer window’s next few weeks with bated breath.
