Botswana head coach Thaloba Nthaga has named a provisional 26-player squad for the AFCON 2027 qualifier double header against Uganda Cranes next month.
Uganda Cranes will host the first leg on Saturday 14 November at Hoima City Stadium before travelling for the return leg three days later.
Both nations sit in Group H alongside Tunisia and Libya with Uganda already qualified as co-hosts alongside Tanzania and Kenya.
The Cranes lead Group H on four points while Botswana sit second on two points after two opening draws.
Only one other team will advance from the group alongside the co-hosts.
The Zebras squad features three goalkeepers led by Goiseone Phoko who plies his trade with Siwele in South Africa.
Eight defenders include Thatayone Dithokwe of Al-Wehdat SC in Jordan and Jwaneng Galaxy duo Botsile Sakana and Chicco Molefe.
Midfield contains Olebogeng Ramotse of Ittihad Tanger in Morocco alongside Gaborone United pair Lebogang Ditsile and Omphile Ramogi.
Eight forwards headline the attack with Losika Ratshkudu of Bolepu in Croatia and Tumisang Orebonye of Hassan Union Sport in Morocco.
Godfrey Tauyatswala of Jwaneng Galaxy and Kabelo Seakanyeng of Al Entsar FC in Saudi Arabia complete the striking options.
The argument doing the rounds in Kampala is whether Botswana's foreign-based contingent makes them dangerous despite the two draws.
