Uganda Rugby Union has named a 13-man Rugby Cranes Sevens squad for the 2026 Rugby Africa Sevens Series to be hosted in Uganda.
Experienced campaigner Ian Munyani will captain the side as the team blends senior internationals with emerging talent.
Alex Aturinda has been appointed vice-captain to support Munyani throughout the continental tournament.
The squad features familiar names Desire Ayera, Allan Olango, Shakim Ssembusi, Roy Kizito and Malcolm Daniel Okello.
Aaron Tukei, Daniel Otim, Karim Arinaitwe, Ivan Bulima, Nobert Okeny and Denis Etwau complete the travelling party selected by head coach Allan Otim.
Uganda will be banking on home support and the experience of senior players to mount a strong campaign.
The management team includes head coach Allan Otim, team physio Samuel Asiimwe and team manager Michael Wandera.
