FUFA has named the 14-man Uganda Rhinos U-15 squad that will fly out on Wednesday for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival in Baku.
The team travels to Azerbaijan on 21 October for the tournament running from 22 to 31 October 2026.
Fourteen players were picked from a provisional group of 24 to represent the country at the global youth event.
El Cambio SA leads the club representation with four players in the final selection.
Prosper SA contributes four players while Isra SA, Jinja S.S, Msingi SA, Proline SA and Rays of Grace each have one.
The selected players are Maganda Swalleh, Kimuli Sudaisi, Kyeswa Ashiraf, Muhimbo Patson, Ogwang Victor Bonny, Zizinga Najib, Baluku Frank, Muwanguzi Jonah, Wafula Ian, Bakiika Ethan Tendo Ssaazi, Kasumba Angello, Kiganda Ivan, Muwonge Mathias and Kwikiriza Jefferson.
This maiden FIFA U-15 World Cup offers the young Cranes a rare platform to test themselves against global peers.
The talking point in Kampala is whether the heavy El Cambio and Prosper presence reflects a genuine talent pathway or simply academy dominance at this age grade.
