FUFA has unveiled the Uganda U-15 National Team squad for the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Rhinos will enter residential camp at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru on 1st October ahead of the tournament running from 22nd to 31st October. Head Coach Bongole Anthony leads a technical bench that includes Goalkeeping Coach Kagawa Alamazan, Team Doctor Nayenga Uthman, Media Officer Muliika George William and Team Manager Lukooya Baker. The 26-man selection comprises four goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven forwards. Goalkeepers Maganda Swalleh of Prosper, Ssebbale Imran of Edgars, Kirwaana Reagan of ISRA and Mugambwa Ibrahim of Jinja SS will compete for the starting berth. The defensive unit features Kyeswa Ashiraf of KJT, Matambye Muzamiru of Ebenezer SA, Muhimbo Patson of Prosper, Kasibante Abdushakul of Buddo SS, Oyirwoth Paul of Maroons SA, Ogwang Victor Bonny of Prosper, Zizinga Najib of ISRA and Eriku Bonniface of Sparta 09. Midfield options include Baluku Frank of El Cambio, Muwanguzi Jonah of Msingi, Mayanja Rahim of Rays, Wafula Ian of El Cambio, Matovu Solomon of STAHIZA, Iglima Daniel of Vipers SA and Mulwana Shaka of Layibi College. Up front, Ssebuufu Joseph of KJT, Bakiika Ethan Tendo Ssaazi of Proline, Sseruwaji Arawi of Edgars, Kasumba Angello of El Cambio, Kiganda Ivan of Rays, Muwonge Mathius of Prosper and Kwikiriza Jefferson of El Cambio complete the travelling party.
