Top 10 Premier League influencers in Uganda: we reveal one name per episode, counting down to No. 1. Every fact links to the report it comes from.
Premier League weekends in Uganda happen in kibandas, bars, boda boda stages and big open air watch parties. Behind that culture are people: the pundits who host the screenings, the commentators who call the games in local languages, and the fan club leaders who turn a title into a feast for a whole town. This countdown names ten of them.
No. 10: Katongore Hamis ("Witare")
Chairperson of the organising committee of the Rwahi Arsenal title celebration, Rwahi, Ntungamo. Club community: Arsenal.
Led the May 2026 Arsenal title celebration in Rwahi that drew about 500 fans and raised more than 100 iron sheets for the Rukukuru-Rwahi Health Unit. (ChimpReports)
How we picked
This is ChampionSport's editorial selection, not a poll and not a follower count. We rank by the reach of the role that Ugandan media report for each person: national TV and radio voices first, then leaders of national supporters' bodies and national fan events, then regional and local fan leaders. Within each group we weigh how directly and how recently the reports tie the person to the Premier League. We only quote follower numbers when a source states them.
Next episode: No. 9. All names revealed so far are on the Top 10 page.
