Uganda Cranes U-20 will face Burundi for the bronze medal at the 2026 CECAFA U-20 championship at Uhuru Stadium in Dar-es-salaam on Thursday.
The third-place play-off kicks off at 12:30 PM before hosts Tanzania meet Sudan in the final at 3:30 PM.
Uganda suffered a 3-2 semi-final loss to Sudan on Tuesday despite an early Richard Okello strike.
Rudman Yahya Mohamed Ishag, captain Waheed Shandi Somi Elbadri and Mazin Fadul Albahli Taowr scored for Sudan to overturn the deficit.
Derrick Ssozi netted Uganda's second goal as Laryea Kingston's charges fell short at a critical stage.
Pride is at stake for both sides who yearn to return home with silverware after missing out on the final.
Uganda will bank on midfielder Isima Mulala Magala, captain Richard Okello and defensive duo Gilbert Ongenrwot and Barasa Mangoli for inspiration.
Burundi rely on captain Amini Nshimirimana, the tournament's top scorer with four goals, plus Ally Magambo, Roy Amissi, Abedi Irakoze and Ali-Ali Sadiki.
Tanzania edged Burundi 2-0 in the other semi-final with Juma Abushiri scoring directly from a corner and Faraji Kayanda adding the second.
Both Tanzania and Sudan have already secured qualification for the AFCON U-20 finals in Ghana next year.
