About the match
It is matchday three in Group H. Uganda lead the group with four points after a 1-1 draw away to Tunisia and a 1-0 win over Libya in Hoima on 29 September, when debutant Arnold Vula headed the winner just before half-time. Botswana drew 2-2 with Tunisia in the other group game.
Uganda have already qualified for the 2027 finals as co-hosts with Kenya and Tanzania, so coach Paul Put can use these games to build his squad.
It will be the second international match at the new Hoima City Stadium after the win over Libya. Earlier schedules listed the home game against Botswana for 11 November. The date in FUFA's announcement is Saturday 14 November.
