KCCA FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo praised his squad depth and the instant impact of returning striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe on Monday.
Ahimbisibwe came off the bench to score the decisive winner against URA FC at HAMZ Stadium in Nakivubo on Friday.
The forward recently rejoined the club after a short spell in Iraq where he played last season.
Ssenyondo said the club moved quickly to bring him back once he became available.
The coach added that the goal will build confidence in the young player for the rest of the campaign.
Ahimbisibwe joins a forward line that already includes Emmanuel Anyama and Charles Lwanga.
Midfield options such as Ibrahim Kasule, Said Mayanja and Ashraf Mugume add further competition for places.
Ssenyondo described the selection headache as a welcome problem that drives the team towards silverware.
KCCA are unbeaten in three matches and visit Ntugasaze FC in Kamwokya next.
The argument in Kampala is whether this attacking depth finally ends the Venoms' recent title dominance.
How did Ahimbisibwe perform on his second debut?
