She Cranes face Namibia in the 2026 Africa Netball Cup semis after beating Malawi Queens 53-49 at Kasarani Indoor Arena on Wednesday, topping Pool 2 unbeaten.
Uganda sealed eight points after earlier wins over Nigeria, Zambia and hosts Kenya, and now meet Pool 1 runners-up Namibia on Friday in a proper continental test.
Malawi finished second on six points, while South Africa won Pool 1 with eight and will face the Queens in the other semi-final.
The tournament doubles as Africa's regional qualifier for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027, although Uganda and South Africa have already qualified through the World Netball rankings.
South Africa are fifth globally and Uganda sixth, so another African representative will be arranged if both reach the final.
The talking point in Kampala is whether Uganda can turn this flawless pool run into a final berth, with Namibia now the sternest measure of the She Cranes' title credentials.
