SC Volcanoes Kisoro has appointed Sadick Sempigi as their new head coach for the upcoming 2026-27 FUFA Big League campaign.
The Kisoro-based outfit secured Sempigi on a renewable one-year contract to lead them following their recent promotion to the second division.
Sempigi joins the newly promoted side after an impressive spell with Kigezi HomeBoyz FC, where he guided them to the Uganda Premier League.
He replaces former Uganda Cranes midfielder Patrick Ochan, whose contract expired after he led the club to a regional championship and unbeaten campaign.
Ochan is currently pursuing his CAF-B coaching qualifications after a successful stint with the Kisoro outfit in the Western Regional Football League.
How will Sempigi lead SC Volcanoes?
Sadick Sempigi will lead the club in their maiden FUFA Big League campaign following his proven track record of achieving promotions in Uganda.
- Sempigi guided Mbarara City FC to the Uganda Premier League in 2022-23
- Sempigi led Kigezi HomeBoyz FC to promotion to the top flight
- Previous roles at Onduparaka FC, Lugazi FC, Arua Hill SC and Kampala University
- Holds a CAF-B Diploma obtained in 2023
