Kruthum Nalumansi and Reagan Michael Nsubuga emerged professional category winners at the 8th City Tyres East Africa Badminton Challenge which concluded at Lugogo Arena on Sunday.
The annual tournament attracted entries across age groups, schools, corporates and nationalities in a growing showpiece for the sport.
Ndejje University secured the university category title while winners in the Under 10, 13, 15 and 19 divisions also collected assorted prizes.
Mandela Group of Companies continues as a key development partner for the Uganda Badminton Association as the game expands countrywide.
Coaches and national team players were recognised during the prize-giving ceremony that capped the weekend programme.
The talking point in badminton circles is whether the corporate backing can translate into more international exposure for Uganda's rising juniors.
