Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has withdrawn from the Black Stars squad ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Côte d'Ivoire and Gambia.
The 26-year-old Tottenham Hotspur forward opted to use the international break to continue his recovery from a lengthy injury layoff.
Kudus only recently returned to competitive action and has yet to complete a full 90 minutes this season.
His limited playing time influenced the decision to allow additional time to rebuild fitness before returning to international duty.
Kudus was expected to be part of Carlos Queiroz's squad for Ghana's opening qualifiers.
