Arteta's Fight Starts Early
Eh! Mikel Arteta's got a new headache brewing before the summer even starts. Man Utd are sniffing around Arsenal's forgotten left-back, Myles Lewis-Skelly. The 19-year-old's been sitting on the bench so long, he's probably got dust on his boots from January's FA Cup win over Wigan.
Bayern's Backdoor Bid?
And it gets weirder! Bayern Munich are also reportedly circling the kid. So now Arsenal have two European giants sniffing their neglected left-back. Is this Lewis-Skelly's chance to escape the Gunners' shadow, or is Arteta about to tell him, 'This one is finished!'?
The Forgotten Man
Lewis-Skelly's been third fiddle to Calafiori and Hincapie all season. He hasn't kicked a Premier League ball since January. If Man Utd or Bayern want him, it's probably because they see a bargain. Or maybe they just like signing players who've been left out in the cold. Either way, the lad's got options. Will he stay and fight for a starting spot, or jump ship for a fresh start?
