Jersey will visit Uganda to play two 50-over warm-up games against the hosts before proceeding to Kenya for the final leg of the Challenge League. The matches will be held at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 10 am. Jersey leads Group A, three points ahead of Kuwait, and will aim to consolidate their position to push for ODI status in the next round of qualifiers. The touring side includes star player Asa Tribe, who has represented the England Lions and is expected to entertain local fans. Jersey previously visited Uganda in 2022 for the Challenge League but did not play in Entebbe. Team Uganda will be without several key players due to the T20 World Cup Qualifiers in Nigeria, but the selected squad remains competitive and will be led by Fahad Mutagana, who recently debuted for the T20 side during the ILT20 Cup in Rwanda. The squad includes Ronald Lutaaya, Robert Owili, Paul Mulongo, Steven Wabwose, Richard Agamire, Musa Majid, Asaba Brian, Gurjivan Singh, Munir Ismail, Bilal Hassun, Ivan Baidhu, and Christopher Kidega. The games offer a valuable preparation opportunity for both teams as they look to build momentum ahead of the crucial Challenge League fixtures in Kenya.
