Iwobi joins elite Premier League 100-game trio club record

Alex Iwobi has become only the fifth player to make 100 or more Premier League appearances for three different clubs, achieving the milestone on Saturday at Fulham.

The Nigeria international, 30, reached the mark after crossing 100 games for Arsenal, Everton and the Cottagers since his senior debut with the Gunners.

Iwobi began his career at Arsenal after rising through the club's academy, eventually earning a regular spot in the first team before a 2019 switch to Everton.

His spell on Merseyside took him past the 100-appearance mark for the Toffees, and a 2023 move to Fulham has now delivered the same landmark at Craven Cottage.

Reaching 100 Premier League appearances for three separate clubs puts Iwobi in a rare band of players, the kind of consistency and durability that signals a top-flight career spanning more than a decade.

He has also become an established figure for the Super Eagles at major tournaments, building a CV few Nigerian players in England can match.

The question doing the rounds among Premier League watchers is simple: how long does he keep climbing from here, and which of the three clubs gets the fondest farewell when he finally hangs up his boots?
