FIFA has officially confirmed Nigeria's 21-player squad for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland, with the Falconets set to battle the world's best young female footballers from September 5 to 27.
Head coach Moses Aduku will lead a squad drawn largely from the Nigeria Women Football League, alongside two overseas-based players, as Nigeria target another strong outing on the global stage.
The squad breaks down as three goalkeepers, six defenders, three midfielders and nine forwards, an attacking shape that shows the depth Aduku has at his disposal.
Edo Queens lead the club contributions, supplying goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma, defenders Tumininu Fatimoh Adeshina and Rebecca Folashade Adegbemile, midfielder Kafayat Oluwatosin Mafisere, plus forwards Mary Mamudu and Precious Chiemerie Oscar.
The foreign-based duo are Janet Seimeyeha Akekoromowei of SL Benfica in Portugal and Amber Ogbolu of Oregon State University in the United States, giving the Falconets a touch of European and American flair up front.
