Allan Oyirwoth scores on Dunfermline Athletic debut

Allan Oyirwoth scored on his Dunfermline Athletic debut during a 1-2 defeat to Ross County at KDM Group East End Park on Tuesday.

The Ugandan midfielder found the net in the 76th minute to cancel out Jamie Lindsay’s opening goal for the hosts.

Ross County restored their advantage five minutes from full-time through a superb 18-yard strike from Richard Chin.

Much as the result was a setback for the hosts, the star boy's goal offered a bright start to his Scottish venture.

Oyirwoth arrived in Scotland on loan from Major League Soccer side New England Revolution to ply his trade in Europe.

He previously featured for the New England Revolution system, making 15 appearances for Revolution II during the 2026 campaign.

The youngster had also made appearances for the senior Revolution squad before seeking greener pastures in the Scottish Championship.
