Trent Alexander-Arnold has told England manager Thomas Tuchel he remains available for selection ahead of the Nations League fixtures this month.
The Real Madrid right-back was omitted from the World Cup squad this past summer after a difficult debut season in Spain.
Alexander-Arnold has started only one league match under new Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, with Denzel Dumfries preferred at right-back.
His last England appearance came in a 1-0 win over Andorra in June 2025.
"Until I retire, I'm still an England player, whether I'm selected or not," Alexander-Arnold told the Mirror in August.
He admitted the World Cup snub left him "properly gutted" and angry after being full of hope.
Tuchel warned the defender that defensive lapses could cost England in major tournaments.
The England boss urged Alexander-Arnold to take the defensive side of his game seriously.
Tuchel led England to the World Cup semi-finals.
The first Three Lions squad of the season will be announced today.
Time remains on Alexander-Arnold's side to force a recall.
